In my own experience, electrolysis didn't work AT ALL (even though I'm an ideal candidate with pale skin and dark facial hair) whereas with the waxing I have noticed a reduction in the amount of it. Cheapest, quickest, most effective option of the lot. Brilliant

Judi, I would take vervena's post with a pinch of salt, I think they have an ulterior motive.

I don't think waxing would make it grow back any thicker than any other 'plucking' method. It's supposed to weaken the root each time it's done, threading will have the same effect on the root too. Perhaps your hair is growing thicker with age? (Not implying your old btw:o)
