Advice & Help Please - Not Sure What to Do Next

Hello,

I am trying to reclaim PPI & unsure what to do next as I have received a few responses from the banks I have written to.

i sent out the letter for policy terms and conditions & enclosed the £1 cheque.

1 - MBNA have written back with a copy of the current terms and conditions, a copy of the executed (?) agreement & a copy of my recent bill - what to do now?

2 - Intelligent Finance or Northern Rock haven't responded

3 - Barclaycard - (old Egg Credit Card) advised that they are unable to locate my details even though I provided the credit card number!!

Please can you advise what I have to do next?

Hi there

Wishing you luck on your reclaiming.

You can make a reclaim without the need of the paperwork just as long as you have the account number and certain you were sold and mis sold ppi.

If the account ended more than 6 years ago, they may not longer hold the details or all of them, so if you do have any details at all it will help, although sometimes they may give an offer and a goodwill gesture if they're unable to find your details, they all vary from one business to the other.

If you have not made a start on the reclaiming yet, complete the reclaim questionnaire below and send to the ones responsible to setting up and selling you the accounts.

The Financial ombudsman issues reclaim questionnaires to use instead of writing a letter, keep a copy in case you ever need to complain to them if your complaint is not successful by a final decision by the business your complaining about.

In regards of barclaycard, how long ago did you take out the account and settle it?
If your sure you were paying for ppi, then I would write back and tell them so, and if you do have any paperwork of the account, statements etc, then send them a copy.

Do i send the questionnaire to the banks on its own or do I send a letter with it?

The Egg/Barclycard is about 6 years ago, yes defo had ppi on it but no paperwork : (
