Hi, I want to go on a city break with my mum. I was thinking of Poland (to visit Aushwitz) or something like that. Saying that, I dont really care where I go. I just want to get away form my daily job grinde for a few days. Does anyone have any reccommendations? And any good cheap package deals? Thanks for any suggestions.

Why Auschwitz? Not a place to go in order to get away and relax.
If you (or she) are really interested in making a pilgrimage to a place of mass-murder, you might consider Ukraine. I have always wanted to tour the monasteries of Kiev and make the pilgrimaget to Babi-Yar. But this is something very different from a relaxing city break.
