On looking back at the letter posted to UKCPS, I have noted that I have put my initial and surname under the signature (doh!). Wish I had known more about the 'scam' at this time. Will this help them acquire my details?
Also surely the fact that the wrong time was written on the ticket is hugely relevant, if the police were to have done simililar they tell me the ticket would be considered void. Any ideas?
Really appreciate all the help I'm getting from you all regarding this, thanks in advance :T0 -
doesnt really matter what you have put,,just ignore everything from and related to them, no matter how scary or how big the red ink is,, its just a scam,,only local council/traffic wardens/police have the pwers not these jokers, relax, chill feet up,, you have NOT committed a crime/offence.0

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:SIGNATURE !!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Surely this is a wind up ?
Honestly come off it now....Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Always best not to reply to scammers at all - but to give them your signature is never a good plan.
In future if you ever write a letter to any company or maybe a Council Dept (anyone except your Bank etc.) consider whether they even need your correct surname let alone not giving them your real signature! A squiggle is good enough for any non-Bank/official/taxman entity! I also use an 'online date of birth' for any shopping I do online as I fail to see why H&M et al need my real DOB. They simply don't. Protect your ID details as much as possible.
No worries though, you are safe to ignore both UKCPS and Vinci. Just play PPC snap with both sets of letters against our top thread of pictures 'PPC letters/threats' top thread by Crabman onm this board.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

UKCPS do have a history with disabled bays, but it is still a minuscule amount they pursue!0
