How to start my eBay business

My listing fees are typically 9p an item. My final value fees are 2.4%.
How on earth are you fees so low? As a private seller I can sometimes list for free ( not the 99p) but my final value fee will be 10%. If not a free listing day anything over £1 will be a min 15p to list and more after a £5 start price..................................0 -
Why not offer to supply to the OP, at a rate where can make a profit, you make a profit, and he cant undercut you?Notmyrealname wrote: »Good luck with that. Why should I tell you where I get my stuff from just so you can go undercut me?illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Business seller FVF fees for the Tech category are 3% and then he probably gets a discount for being a Top Rated Seller.tightwadman wrote: »How on earth are you fees so low? Alternatively they could reduce their extortionate mark up if theyre soo sure the OP will undercut them.0 -
You don't have to be making a massive profit for some numpty to seriously undercut you! eBay is full of bedroom sellers who undercut others and end up selling for little or no profit after they've paid their fees! A great situation for the buyers though!Alternatively they could reduce their extortionate mark up if theyre soo sure the OP will undercut them.0 -
Or alternatively you could mind your own business.0

I hear with global warming the way it is, there is no better time to sell snow to the eskimoes (but don't tell anyone). Also, google refrigerated parcel delivery firm as the snow will melt with standard couriers.
There you go pal, your all set.
Happy to help

'tis true, a while ago someone started doing just that, problem was they were actually paying at least 20% more than I was, so they never lasted long. Surprising how easy it is to misjudge profit, postal prices, fees, etc and end up losing on a product and that's from an experienced seller, the novice can end up broke pretty quicklyYou don't have to be making a massive profit for some numpty to seriously undercut you! eBay is full of bedroom sellers who undercut others and end up selling for little or no profit after they've paid their fees!
