Where is the best/cheapest provider for mobile insurance?
Barclaycard do theft and loss for £6.99pm.
Bank with HBOS they offer insurance in the Ultimate current account would probuably use travel insurance this year, only mobile cover after that.

Do you have home contents insurance? You could add it to this for loss or damage but not for any technical failure.0

There's some specific iPhone insurance comparison sites on the web that are quite useful. I used iPhone Insurance .biz. I went finally with Protect Your Bubble for my 4s as they were cheap, had quite comprehensive cover and had decent reviews. The service so far has been fine but I've not had a claim or anything yet.
Hope this helps.0 -
I have student contents insurance and my 4S is insured through this. If you do buy insurance of any kind for it make sure that your phone is actually covered, when I bought a 3GS I spent ages trying to find cheap insurance for it. Many policies specifically excluded all or some models of iphone in the terms and conditions so read carefully especially as you have the newest model!"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on" - Winston Churchill0

Hmmmm... that is an interesting article. The reviews I read were OK but this doesn't sound great. I suppose most companies have some negative feedback though. I'll only now how good they really are if I have to make a claim, which hopefully I won't.0
