How long to wait chasing up Capital One PPI claim?

Hi,
On 4th October 2011 I posted off my Ombudsman questionnaire to Capital One to start proceedings but have heard nothing back.
It was sent by special delivery and had another letter enclosed which they have replied to.
I just wondered how long I should wait before chasing up the claim or if there is a time line they have to abide to?
Thanks
Joanne
