Odd Dutch Auction behaviour

A friend of mine is bidding on a Dutch Auction, which can be found at
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7141386906
There are six items for sale. At the moment (and it might, of course, change by the time you read this) there are six bidders each interested in one of the items (see bidders list link). So, we would think that if no-one else bids, everyone would win (at £20 each).
eBay is telling him, however, that he has been outbid. He can't understand why. Any ideas?
