If not Ikea, then where?

Went to Ikea today to look at wardrobes, drawers and cabinets. I wasn't as impressed as I have been in previous years - nothing really took my fancy.
Where else can I go to look at similar furniture at sensible prices. I like smooth, simple designs - the sort of thing you see in Ikea. I would consider an online store, but I would really like to get a look at the stuff before I buy it.
Thanks for your help

If there is somewhere, I haven't found it. I can find more expensive stuff of similar or better uality, but not for the same price.

Made.com is very good, but pretty limited in it's range. Dwell is a bit of a rip off, some nice pieces, some not great uality, but I've only bought from the clearance section, I wouldn't be happy to pay full price. Their sale is about to end, it might be worth a look. Habitat's prices seem to be coming down now they've changed ownership (and lost the overheads of the shops)

The other place I buy is ebay. I've picked up some wonderful, properly well made furniture, nearly new for a fraction of the price. :) Takes a bit of dedication though, a few weeks trawling sometimes.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • If its fitted bedroom furniture you want Id recommend https://www.supplyonlybedrooms.co.uk . My mum got 2 bedrooms worth from there and I fitted it for her. Really nice stuff with lots of options.
