Scrap car for free then give the money to charity!
I saw this & think i will go down this route, its for a good cause & makes sure the banger in the front drive is gotten rid of!

Why not just sell/scrap it yourself and give the money you make to a charity of your choice.

they take 25% of the money for running costs... hmmm
that could be an extra 25% in the charitys pocket if you do it all yourself...

Agree with above posts - better to sell it yourself and make the donation yourself. This is on the assumption you get the best available price for the scrapping of the car.
Making the donation yourself may enable the charity to reclaim an extra 28% in gift aid which they wouldn't otherwise, further info on Gift Aid here:

My gripe with charities and fundraisers. By the time its gone through the system the actual amount used at the end source
