Hi everyone, I live in an upstairs flat in a terraced house and because of the lack of window cleaners in my area I need to find a way of cleaning my outside windows.
So what I need to know are Magnetic Window Cleaners any good ? if so what one would you recommend, I have read some mixed reviews so I thought I would ask my savvy friends.
I am also considering a telescopic window cleaning kit again any views and recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks for reading. Viv
Hi ZippyI think the point here is that Viv is looking for some up to date info on these cleaners... ie... someone who has bought one recently and either recommends one, or not... I can't find the answer to her question in those threads
I know you were trying to be helpful but sometimes this constant merging of threads can be irritating. That said I do understand why it is done.
Anyway, back to the original question... I would like an answer to this too - I have never heard of the magnetic ones so am off to have a look on fleabay
Everytime we manage to spot a window cleaner and get them round... They never come back! Its like finding hens teeth round here *rollseyes*0 -

The company selling the window wizard (original) ones says that as they understand it is difficult to measure the thickness of your windows, they will happily take them back and refund you

I've only used my magnetic cleaner for single glazed windows, but the only problem with a windshield that I can imagine is, how stable is it? Is it at all flexible? The magnets are very strong and I don't think that the cleaning function (which is like a squeedgee) would work unless the surface was absolutely ridged.
I assume that you want to clean your canopy windshield when you are on the mobility scooter without getting wet? I'm sorry that I can't be more help, but i suggest that you post the question "how do I wipe rain off my mobility scooter canopy windscreen with out getting out in the rain" and see what other forum users come up with. The question about the magnetic cleaner is always going to get sidelined with discussions about windows I'm afraid!0 -

I think Viv was using that question as a quote of what she found when she used the links that Zippy provided(although that wasn't made clear)
Her original question is the one at the top which IS regarding windows - the first post!
I thought the same as you when I first read it :rotfl:0 -
