Late train ticket refunds
A few days ago I travelled from Cornwall to Sheffield on the train. The first train I got was a First Great Western this was late and got into Plymouth (where I had my onward connection at 13:23) at 13:35 I then had to wait nearly an hour for the next train a Cross Country service. This second train also became delayed outside Birmingham adding further delay.
I was originally supposed to have arrived in Sheffield at 18:18 but it was around 19:45.
I know you can get a partial refund if your train is over and hour late but what if it is two different operators? I got the form from a (very rude) man at the station for the Cross Country journey, I assume l will have to fill in a different form for the Great Western one?
Any advice?

One form should do - send it to Cross Country0

It should be sent to FGW as it was their service that caused the train to be missed, resulting in a long wait. Make sure you tell them the time of the train you were supposed to catch, and the fact that missing this train caused a delay of around 80 minutes.0
