Och I am also dieting right now but I need to work on the exercise
..
How tall are you taffy? I'm tall average (if that makes sense)....Tall enough to have sized 42 feet but not tall enough to get clothes from the tall shop..
Wish I could find my arm band for my walkman and then all would be well and I could go jogging

I have been looking intently at Slimming World on t'internet to see if I can work out how to do the plan without going to the meeting. I can't seem to find much out about it though, other than there is red days, green days, extra easy days and healthy a's and b's (completely confused me
). I found the nearest meeting but they want £5.00 to join on top of the £4.95 meeting fee  (oh how I have changed :rotfl:)
I am going to have a look at fleabay to see if I can get the books off there for less than £9.95 otherwise I will admit and go. Have you tried SW before? How are you finding it?Just keep swimming!0 -

E - I'm 5'6 and also have size 42 feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to do more exercise as well, just by the time get home from school, sort kids, do bits of housework I'm too tired!!!! Run round at school all day!!!
Itsadogslife - I have done slimming world before and it is very good (if you stick to it!!) It's more of a way of eating rather than a diet. The different days are very easy to work out. Red is unlimited meats with your veg, fruit. Green is unlimited pasta, rice, potatoes with your veg, fruit. Extra Easy is a combination of all the unlimited foods. Healthy A's are milk, cheese - dairy Healthy B's are bread, cereal, type stuff. Once you read the books it is very easy to do.
Had a little £10 win on lottery which will go straight in bank account so will transfer to VSP when it arrives in!!!
Off to pizza hut in a bit with kids and friends so wish me luck that I don't eat anything!!!! Lovely salad waiting for me in the fridge for when I get home.

Hello all!!! Sorry not been on for a couple of days, hectic here!!
DH came home from offshore Friday, 11 days early!!!! Totally threw all my plans askew!!!! Kids acting up cause he's here, typical!!
I have updated my monthly spend to £400 but this is to include petrol as now have a - I don't want to use my credit card at all - head on!
Total spend today is £200.94 this does include dd's school dinners and tuck. I'm going to let dd1 have 1 more full week then have decided if they can get money out of dh they can have them if not, packed lunches.
Bonus in dh coming home, in the new year's day raffle offshore he won a kindle! As I'm the only one here that enjoys reading, guess who got it;)
Hopefully shouldn't have too much else to pay out for, seem to have £16 in my purse so must have had some lurking pre-Jan budget. Of the money I have spent £25 is for birthday presents and £20 petrol (which should last about 2 weeks) so don't think I'm doing too bad.
Hope you are having a good weekend, sw going really well, and now going to carry on clearing out cupboard under the stairs!!!!!!!!!!!!! and cook my roast.
Will report back soon, take care Taffy xxxx:DNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -
Just a quickie - was sorting out my purse for receipts etc and found a lottery ticket from christmas eve. After posting on here checked it and it's a £10 winner, lovely jubbly xx
eta - 2nd one this year (although not technically this year!) They say they come in 3's. Let's hope it's more than £10, wouldn't that be nice xxNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -
Weigh in day - lost 6lbs!!!!!!!!!!!! Well chuffed. So pleased with my self, target for next week 2lbs.
Spent £10 Monday as tea/coffee money due at work but this does last til about easter so not too bad. Got dh to pay for dd2's clubs so saved myself £22 this week, he also took dd1 to guides so he had to pay that too!!! Mind you swimming due on sat and next sun dance is due!!! Never ends.
Was extremely deflated when I got home from sw, didn't even get asked how i got on!!! T*!t!!!! Just doesn't get that support helps you along, sod it can do this without him!
Not as cheesed off as I sound, hope everyone is having a good week.
