Most things nowadays for the home have like a 'line rental' service.
say you have a one bedroom flat. Gas cooker. You use electric heating. hot water from boiler only when youre showering. So you basically cutting down where you can. You have energy saving light bulbs.
Broken down where possible, what is the average Uk rental and utility costs? This will include Gas, Electric and water.

do you mean standing charge?
if so you can get gas and elecy with out it if you want but you pay more per kwh to cover it

houses and flats rental prices vary alot in different parts of th uk
here you can get a flat or house from £300 per month up to £3000+ in london even more
as for the water that will depend on if its on a meter and how much you use or if its on RV it will go on the size and value
gas and elecy will also vary to how much you use and size of house
