Son got a shock when he opened his lynx gift set...

Bought my son a lynx washbag giftset from tesco for 1 of his cheaper crimbo presents (I should point out he's only 11). He opened it today and inside the zip was a pack of 3 jls condoms . My son was a mixture of shocked and embrassed and my jls mad daughter was excited as she thought santa had left her an extra gift and mistakenly put it in sons pile (shes only 9 and presumed they were sweets)!

Glad to know this though as my DS is also 11 with a birthday in a few weeks, so we could have had the same issue!

I spoke to the manager and he said he will tell staff to make sure they check all the gift sets when they scan them at the til, he seems to think another shopper mistakenly put them in there.....how do you mistakenly open a zip, put a pack of 3 in there and then do it back up? my hubby seems to think perhaps it was a shop lifter putting them in and only paying for the gift set but got put off and just stuck it back on the shelf

Would depend, Boots were selling those condoms off before Christmas for about £1 a pack :rotfl:

Pity it wasn't something you'd actually use, it does seem like a sensible suggestion though, I've worked in a supermarket and the things customers do would astound you :rotfl: I've had people trying to put 12 cooked chicken legs into a bag that only holds 6! to try and get out of paying for them all.

Good god, can you imagine getting into bed with a new fella and discovering that he has procured you a handful of JLS condoms? I may have nightmares.
