Hi All
My pea and carrot seeds are on their way!!! I cant wait - i want to get everything ready to start planting on March 1st. Plus im due about an extra £100 this month wages from overtiem and i contacted my local MP so hopefully ill get my CTC worked out soon thanks to him
Anyway i still dont have gravel down yet - will take a trip to focus in march i think and get it then.
Was just wondering if anyone uses the cheap multi purpose compost from wilkinsons and if it is any good??? the 89p for 10l stuff
also i need to pick up pots too but everythign else is here or on its way

Yes the Wilkos stuff is fine, avoid the dry brick blocks they sell in Poundland.
Depending where you live 1st March may be too cold, it might be a good idea to cover the soil with black polythene, it will keep from becoming too wet, and retain the heat before you remove it prior to planting. My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -

If you work it out wilko's aint that cheap, if your buying lot's of compost go down to B&Q or Homebase you will usually get about 145l for £6.50 ish so thats about 45p for 10l if my maths are right. But before you buy ask if their are any split bags as they will be cheaper.;)You can't have everything....where would you put it?0
