One of each sounds about right you will be busy with a newborn and a 2 year old you might need Zumba just to chill.

I not make it this morning was all set go to Zumba then my friend was here so I didn't bad really. We have been busy in the garden got the last plants moved, put stuff in the garage. Cut a load of branches of a large tree at the back ( not mine) looks so much better. Also chopped up the branches for wood for the chimminea which is very money saving. Took both raised beds out one was totally rotten eaten by wood lice the other one was fine so can reuse that. Took a whole car load to the skip felt good hardly anything left now at the side the house.

Went to Mackro spent £31 got a large black plastic bin with a lockable lid which can store the wood in and then will get a nice rattan plastic storage box to put the cushions in. Also got the bark we went for 200litre for £10 Roundup for the ivy, some socks for mil she wanted some socks for DH and that was it.

Busy at work tomorrow just chilling tonight.

Took some more picture but cannot upload from here so will have to wait.

Update from the gardening at the weekend.

Off now not had time to do a weekly weigh in guessing it will be bad as no gym this week.

That would just be so perfect on our new deck I want one but I cannot find anywhere to buy one so have left a message for the main site to call me back.
This is the box its £100

Just found out BIL and girlfriend will be over on the 8th to the 13th March. It will be good to see them again and hopefully they can see the progress in the garden although being South African I doubt they will want to sit outside.

Had a look at Lidl plant sale going to go down there when they open on Thursday so get some fruit bushes 4 for £5 think raspberry and blueberry and some cool planters they have at £10 each.

All this spending but I kind of have to make it look all cool and nice and I know we will use it.

Had a call from Tesco last night I had emailed them asking if they wanted to stock that rattan bar and they called 2 hours later saying they would pass it to their buyer team but could not promise anything. Quite good service I was expecting an email and certainly not that quickly.

Went to Lidl yesterday just because and OMG have I been missing out. Fresh ryebread as good as you get it in Denmark for 69p, whole smoked mackrel at £2.19 again as good as Denmark and what I used to live on as a student. Loads of nice chocolates, black forrest ham and melon £15 for so much stuff will have to go there more often. Today my meeting is right across the road from one but the plant sale does not start until Thursday so will have to go again then.

Still 2 buyers that have not paid on Ebay 1 is sending a cheque one has just done nothing. Its only 50p but I want to strike them out its not on they have had nearly a week now.

Got to send my mum a birthday card today big panic until I remembered that I bought a load of cards via Groupon so thats that sorted.

Been reading on the old style board and New Super Scrimpers its so funny, I agree with most of what they are saying that the show is not really for MSE'er as we know most of it and Miss Money Penny is a bit of a joke Martin could have done a much better job.

Well better get sorted need to leave here in 45min and have a bit to do first.

Training session went well but I was really tired when I came out. Spotted the supermarket had some trees in the front so panicked and thought the Lidl plant sale had started a day early. Went it found they had 3 pack of fruit bushes for £2.49 thought that is strange they are meant to £1.49 each. Found a few more things I wanted like weed mat, fish and bonemeal fertilizer, some bamboo canes, washing powder forgot to buy this in Makro etc. Put my card in the machine only to notice "welcome to Aldi" honestly I had been in there ages without spotted it was not a Lidl. Still happy with what I got and will go to the Lidl tomorrow to get blueberry bushes and the grey pots.

Got my mums birhtday card off and ordered her some flowers really expensive but its nice to get flowers via Interflora isn't. Really tired this evening doubt I will make pump although I should.

Oh, I wish I had Lidl nearby! My mum said to buy anything I like and she would plant it for me in the garden when she comes next month. I'm not into gardening at all so her offer is double generous as my little boy will love helping her out:j

Nice response from retailer, they could just send a quick email - looks like some humans are working there after all:rotfl:

Have you got an Aldi as you can see they do plants and I did not spot the difference. I would take your mum up on her offer it's great to get kids into growing stuff even if it's just peas or sunflowers. I got my gardening bug from an old neighbour at home I vividly remember helping her in the garden when I was very young.

Oh and I did make it to pump was great currently watching the football well DH is I could not care less and Denmark is not playing and it's a friendly.

  • I was in Aldi on Monday and they didn't have anything interesting:(
    I'll check next week though;)

I'm watching One Born Every Minute - I got 20 days to go, so probably not a good idea to scare myself ;)

Just come back from Lidl got everything I wanted. Got 2 blueberry bushes quite nice did not have that many blueberry left but loads of the others will now have 6 fruit bushes which will do nicely.

Got 3 large pots at £9.99 each very nice looking but made of plastic and you have to cut holes yourself. Will look nice with my black ratttan garden set.

Also got the fertiliser, gardening mats ( I am a messy potter) and the metal spirals at £7.99 very sturdy and heavy looks fab. Happy with that lot £58 but got some food as well. I am a total Aldi and Lidl convert now.

Weronika, my friends who gave birth at Southampton General were glad they had watched the programme as when she went into labour he was not there and she needed a C-section but because of the programme the husband knew what had happened and where to go in the hospital when he rushed over from work.

Also got a hibiscus plant at £3.99 spur of the moment seems to remember they are quite expensive.
