    Steel seal makes the gasket swell up, its more of a solvent, the gasket expands and seals itself, however if it has gone right through, nothing will work.
    It works on K Type engines as the gasket leaks rather than blows, the engine has bars in the sump to bolt the head down as it was designed as an 8v engine, these rods overheat due to old oil and expand which allows the gasket to lift enough to start a leak, these sealants just soften the gaskets hoping they will reseal.

    I hope the innocent person you sell it to comes back to you with threats of legal action. People like you are what makes buying a used car such a rotten experience. No wonder the UK is on its knees with everyone ripping everyone else off all the time.
