30 minute wash?

So let me get this right...
You spin again and increase the creasing, then iron more using more energy but that somehow saves you time and money?
Pray tell, how do you work that out?
Faster spins or additional spins increase creasing, there's no way around that.
The additional ironing will most likely cost you more (time and hassle) than just washing the stuff right in the first place.

You need to iron some clothes in order to look decent. I'd rather look ok than save a few pence from going around in creased clothes. Its a weekly blitz of around 40 minutes.
I sometimes do a faster spin as I dry my clothes on a clothes horse type dryer preceeded by a quick blast in the tumble dryer to soften towels and get creases out of items which I don't iron. Usually do a 30/40deg wash for 45 minutes but rarely 90deg - very uneconomical and unecessary. Any stained items I use a manual stain remover and then wash at 30 deg.0 -
Gosh! Thanks to EVERYONE for all these replies. I am giving it a try, so far I haven't had anything particularly dirty, that will be the real test!0
