Harrogate enjoys a long-standing reputation as one of the UK’s top floral towns, with its elegant shops, fine restaurants and wonderful parks and gardens. It has been chosen to host the Europe in Bloom awards ceremony in 2007. The 80th Harrogate Spring Flower Show is the first event in this year’s UK horticultural show calendar and runs from 26 – 29 April at the Great Yorkshire Showground. Over a hundred of the UK’s top horticultural nurseries will be staging major displays, all with plant sales areas. The nursery staff can provide excellent free advice, as can the specialist plant societies. So if you want to know how to prune your bonsai or propagate your pelargoniums, visit the show – you’ll be able to buy the plants as well as the pot! To enter the competiton, simply fill in your details below.
