Some software here
http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/function/espsearch/searchResult.do?00000=34&10000=0&20000=33&30000=1&40000=0&keywords=s1050&menu=20000&input_keyword=s1050&sortType=1
Leave the firmware if the camera works with the PC
If the camera uses a card, you could also get a card reader to transfer the images0 -
Have you tried just connecting it to the computer, Many cameras now just work on the basis that it's memory/flash memory is a drive, and installs as such allowing you to copy over from it, rather than using their own software. If you're using it to edit, consider something like Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) instead.0

Neither. Your camera should be recognised automatically or as suggested, use a card reader.0 -
Yep, avoid the bloated software, just get a card reader, you can get them for a couple of quid eg http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/24436852/7-In-One-USB-2-0-Card-Reader-Writer-Support/Product.htmlpoppy100

Connect it, open Windows Explorer and look for an external drive folder, which will be your camera.
Open that folder, move through lower-level folders until you find your pictures.
Copy/paste them from the camera to the PC0
