Home Tek Steam Travel Iron - no steam

Hi
I have a Home Tek Steam Travel Iron. I don't really iron much, but I love it to bits. I haven't used it in a while. I have just come to steam a wool coat that I washed to get out the creases and no steam is coming out.
I have used a cocktail stick on the holes in the sole plate and then added vinegar to the tank. It doesn't seem to have made much difference, there is no shot of steam.
I am wondering if the vinegar will work as this iron does not get as hot as a normal iron. You can leave it on the material and it doesn't burn it.
I assume it is clogged up with limescale, I do try not to leave any water in it when I have finished with it.
I hope I have the write board and someone has some ideas to help.
happy New Year.
Regards

It does seem likely that the steam holes are clogged with limescale.
Perhaps leave clear vinegar with some water in it over night and then flush it out.If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
Is the control knob turned to the "steam" position?
