Do you accept the offer of repayment as being correct?

Hi all!

Friend of mine has had an offer of repayment made directly to her - they will credit herd card account.

She (thinks) she instructed a claims agency, but has nothing relating to this on actual Credit Card company offer, so will they invoice her directly, once accepted?

Also, is the figure negotiable or is it calculated by the card company accuratly?

Thanks in advance

VB

The cc company will tell the claims co (if she used one) that the claim was upheld and the amount, the claims co will want the % and will send a bill asking for it..
Was the card in arrears? if it was your friend will have to pay the claims co the fee as the win will reduce the balance on the card.
If it was not in arrears, then the redress will go to your friend and she can pay them out of this,if a contract was signed, and she does not pay,the claims co will take her to court, they dont mess about.

Some cc companys only pay redress for the past 6 years unless you have statements before that showing the ppi, look at the redress and see what they have paid,if your friend has statements before the redress date, copy them and ask for these to be redressed also.

She needs to get a grip. First she has PPI when she doesnt want it. Then she doesnt know if she employed a claims company or not.....

    it is a defined calculation.
