Oh I love sweet potato mash. I put it on top of a veggie shepherds pie. I've never tried it with cinnamon though. I might think about that. Funnily enough I had sweet potato for dinner tonight, I baked it and added it to a sauce made up of creme frache and spinach then stirred in cooked pasta - it was lovely!
    Your dinner sounds amazing!

The honeycomb flapjack from Graze is omnomnom delishusness in a box, now if they sent 4x that in each box I wouldn't have cancelled my subscription to it.

Hmmm cinnamon in mash, badger is curious!
I love flapjack of any sort...

Woke up this morning and I can't hear out of my left ear and it's really painful :( which means I feel all off balance and can't taste anything properly either! Pants  :(

So, probably not going to do much today now. I'm currently watching Mary Poppins :o and having a cuppa whilst DH is at work. I need to go to Mr Ts but I'm going to wait til DH gets home and he can drive us.

    Meh :(:(

Good job DH is at work then!;)

Feeling a bit blah myself (been lying on the sofa all morning) - been trying to convince myself for the past 3 days that I've just got really bad hayfever ...... but the streaming nose & stonking headache are a bit of a giveaway that it's probably the lurgi!

Trying to summon enough energy to go to Mr T (not a place I go often as think their "everyday" prices are really high - but a few things I need on offer & have £4 off £40 spend & £8.50 in c/card vouchers) so ......

Debating whether to take Maisie (usually do when I go to Mr A as usually only a quick trip in - but may be a while in Mr T hunting for best deals) - I really need to try to persuade her to go onto the beach (she was scared of the waves last time & wouldn't set foot on it :rotfl:) - but don't think I've got the energy..... but if I don't take her - I'll need to take her out again later ...... decisions ... decisions ....

Aww, bless her for being scared of the waves. Maybe it's the sound? It honestly depends on how long you're going to be in Mr Ts, and how is she about sitting outside and waiting?

I hope you feel better soon :grouphug: I think I might have to go to the walk in centre this afternoon, it's so painful and it's making me feel sick :( if it's an infection, it needs seeing to sooner rather than later... but I don't want to drive so I've got to wait til DH gets in from work.

Sigh. So much for a peaceful weekend ;)

She'd never been on the beach before I got her & was fascinated when the waves went out ..... but got the fright of her life when they came back in again :rotfl:Poor wee lamb .... AFAIK she's not too bad waiting but usually only in Mr A around 15 mins ..... mmmmm if I take her, I'll not need to worry about a long walk later (and can retreat to the sofa again - lazy sod!:o)

Ouch - will you be able to get anything from the chemist to help?

I hate earache - it's like toothache - there's really very little you can do to make it feel better :(

    It does rising it does.
    Alan's funeral was yesterday.
Susan/3 dogs is away with kit & the lads now for a wee break.
So sad that Alan dident live long enough to go.

I loved Susan and Kit and the boys when they came all the way to Edinburgh to meet me last year.
    Bah is all.

I was at a funeral yesterday of an old friend who was taken way too young and left 3 boys.Bah to that too.
Am an emotional wreck today & physically & mentally wrung out.
