So, NSD 4 for the SF household. I didn't need to buy anything today and didn't need any petrol, so woohoo.

I came home today to something I'd forgotten about - one of my friend's sent me a code for a free graze box and it came today! :j very yummy - I've already eaten the cherry tomato and basil focaccia, breadsticks and dip and the apple and cinnamon flapjack :o I've managed to exercise some self restraint and not eat the fourth snack box - a mix of apple, sultanas and cinnamon honey almonds - to take to work with me tomorrow. The flapjack was especially yummy :o I'd love to get one of these boxes every week as a treat, but it is an expense that I can definitely do without... maybe once a month as a treat? We shall see... ;)

  • Ohhhhhh I had Graze boxes for a while (1st one was free, then 1/2 price for 6 weeks I think)..... yum! (Chedder gorge *sigh* was my fav!)

The problem I had with them (apart from the cost!) was that you couldn't guarantee the day they came ....... dog & nice smelling box through letter box errrrr guess what!

I did buy packets of stuff from the sm for a while (dried fruits, nuts etc) and take in wee tubs but have fallen out that habit ...... mmmmmm

OMG just went onto their site .... they've gone up!

Yeah, it would get expensive if you got them all of the time :(

Thanks - I try to be!

Well, the sun is shining! woohoo :j what a difference it makes. Bright blue skies here this morning and no clouds anywhere! :)

Hoping for another NSD today - brought my lunch with me and again I don't need petrol. I've got one of my little snack bozes from the graze box with me too - I want to have it now, but I'm going to try and wait until break time before I open it. I need to exercise some self restraint here! :rotfl:

DH is making sausages with sweet potato mash for tea, nom nom nom. It'll be nice not to have to cook for a change :) and I can relax a bit when I get in from school. Apparently he's seen somewhere online that adding cinnamon to sweet potato mash makes it better? So we're having that... we shall see! I like cinnamon but in mashed potato?! Hmm....

Right, must get on! Have a good day everyone :hello:

It was okay... ;) I wouldn't want it like that all of the time :p but since DH cooked, I'm not complaining! :rotfl:

In other news, I'm so glad it's Friday tomorrow :j

Oh I love sweet potato mash. I put it on top of a veggie shepherds pie. I've never tried it with cinnamon though. I might think about that. Funnily enough I had sweet potato for dinner tonight, I baked it and added it to a sauce made up of creme frache and spinach then stirred in cooked pasta - it was lovely!

The honeycomb flapjack from Graze is omnomnom delishusness in a box, now if they sent 4x that in each box I wouldn't have cancelled my subscription to it.

Hmmm cinnamon in mash, badger is curious!

    It's Friday :j :j :j

The only downside to today is that I've been put on cover, again. :wall:last lesson on a friday, and pe of all things! Sigh. Oh well, then it'll be the weekend :)

It's not going to be a NSD today - I've already popped to Mr Ts for a couple of things and I need to post a couple of letters this afternoon, so spending there too. I'm not doing very well with my NSDs this month

Have a good day everyone :hello:
