Hubby used to snore and waken me but then I would get him to go on to his side and then he didn't snore and both of us got a good nights sleep. Maybe if your OH lay in a different position if might reduce his snoring too, anythings worth a try!?!0

Hi all - i should have said about the food shop too - i buy alot of basics sm own brand for things - i have tried some things and its not been the same so obviously these have are still bought by preferred brand. Plus i buy reduced stuff when i can.
SF - hmm - its hard to answer i think so sorry if this comes out all garbled. Me and my fella never talk about money - i don't know how much he has or how much he earns although i know he has some savings and earns alot more than me (3x as much but thats because my income is very low too ). I am not sure our relationship would survive if he knew about my debtI have no idea how he thought i was paying my half of the bills after my redundancy or how he thinks i manage now when he knows my salary (was clearly shown on the job advert). It is hard but also i guess it has changed me - i think i always thought we'd support each other if anything happened (my wage used to be significantly more in my old job) but that didn't happen

Yep, that's how we do it toosome things (like salad cream!) just need to be branded, there's no shame in that I think!

Thanks SF - its an odd one and certainly something i've been thinking about alot more recently - i think when times were good - i.e. i was in my well paid job and my fella was still in the same job he's in now then the money didn't come into things. You mentioned you couldn't imagine having a big part of your life separate from your hubby - one of the things i'm thinking about includes the fact that alot of our lives are separate - its not just the money.
And you are right too - i can't tell if i'm happy with the situation or notPart of me is 'little miss independent' because thats how i've always had to be from a very young age really - and then another part of me wants to feel that my fella is there to support me - not just financially but emotionally and in some ways the emotional side is alot more important - to hug me when things aren't going great and to encourage me to achieve all i can - to be excited with me when i'm excited about something, to discuss our future with me and plan things so we can have and do all the things we want to... Am i waffling too much
Oh well - it is definitely an odd one and one thing is certain - we have been together so long it won't change... i'm still not sure how to work out if i'm happy with it or not though
And i didn't think you were trying to pry at all - ask awayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
