Hya SF, sorry, been slowly catching up with everything after being away for Xmas..then you went and set up a new thread without me noticing!!
Sounds like you have had a lovely time, you definitely needed the rest! Hopefully this year will soon bring you a shiny new job, as well as a husband!!
Really need to get to bed now, but winding down after working on stuff that I should have done earlier in the day...got a new phone today, so started playing with it instead of working:o Managed to get everything done that needed to be done thank goodness, now off to bed.
Lovely to have a HP day (or two). We watched P7 part 2 over the hols...rather good, though I am still not happy with the abrupt twee ending!!!
I got the first season of Gilmore Girls for Xmas...so I plan on getting lots of ironing (or knitting) while watching that...and DS2's Numb3rs and NCIS...can you tell I have LOADS of ironing to do?? :rotfl:
Night, night, hope you've not been blown away with all this windy weather!

I may watch another HP today - I wasn't pleased with the ending in HP 7 but I can see why she did it, iyswim?
I'm just waiting for my mum to arrive for a cuppa and a chatshe's not staying for too long, but it'll be nice to see her anyway

Hope you had a good natter with your mum SF.
Yes I agree about the HP ending, it needed to be a happy one, but would have like to see how they got things together and rebuilt after the devastation of you-know-who first!
Still no ironing done, but got all the work done that I wanted this morning. :j Need to get the decorations down first, so will rope in DS2 in a mo...he'll love that! At 6'2", he can reach much better than me :rotfl:
Have a good weekend xx

Had a mega stress this afternoon about wedding stuff, but I'm hoping that I've got it all sorted now...
We've been round to OH's parents for tea, which was yummy as alwaysnot as healthy as it might have been if it was at home, but I asked for a small portion
and it also means it's another NSD in the SF household, which is always a bonus!
My food today:
b - cheerios with skimmed milk
l - chicken noodles, small yogurt
s - 2 small oranges
t - chicken pasta, slice of bread, half a slice of banana loaf
Hmm, too many carbs today I reckon....Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I've finally got my macbook back :j :j it's been in the computer shop since 28th November and has cost me £165 in repairs  but I have it back - I'm so pleased. Me and OH have been sharing his, and it's not the same. So, I've been updating all my spreadsheets this afternoon, and I have to also update all the wedding stuff on it, so I'll be doing that later.
I've also had to have my phone repaired todayI've got a Bberry, and it crashed this morning. I had to take the battery out for it to do anything, and then when it turned back on, the keypad wouldn't work so I couldn't enter my password to unlock it, nor do anything. So that cost me £30.
I've also been to get some new passport photos (which aren't flattering AT all!) and been to Mr Ts for the grub, so it's been an expensive day! Tomorrow will be expensive too, as I need to go and get a form signed so I can send off for my new passport with my new namebut that costs just under £80  and here was me thinking January would be a relatively low spendy month....

I got some supply work for this morning, so it's a start. Not that exciting, but it got me up and out of the house and getting my face known
I haven't spent anything today - all I've done is work, then go and get my new passport form signed and that's it! I need an early night as I didn't sleep too well last night, as per usual, so nothing much is going to happen this evening.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Ooh well done SF...it's better than nothing, and helps to keep your brain working!
Have you thought of invigilating, in either schools or colleges? I know it's not a lot of money, but it is better than nothing, and it all adds up. Also gets your face noticed too, job hunting-wise. Been invigilating today and will be tomorrow and Friday too..a busy time of the year!
Enjoy the rest of the week, :j to getting the Mac back, but :(to the bberry problems. Still trying to get the hand of my new one (free and with cashback!).

I have said I'll do invigilating too - so we'll just have to wait and see
I've had two friends over for a cuppa this afternoon - they're both unemployed tooone of them has a little girl, 2 and a half, who is absolutely gorgeous. We all had a good natter and we also went to the local park and I had a go on the swings! It really was a lovely afternoon and I feel much better for it.
NSD too, which is always a bonus. Will need to spend tomorrow though - I need to send an application off in the post and also send my passport form off, now it's been signed. I also want to get some more fruit as well.
