  • Ohhhhh sounds like a horrid journey to work & back again :( - glad you're home safely.

I thought it had actually snowed when I got up this morning as outside looked snowy - but it was just ice! No idea how cold it was as my outside thermometer's broken (must get a new one!)

My windscreen washers did that the other day & I ended up having to pull over - luckily there's always a 2L bottle of water in the back for the dog so threw some of that over......

I've had no internet ALL day .... - sure you can imagine how happy I've been today :rotfl:

Got here in one piece :D

The new job is closer to the new house, just. It's still going to be a good 35-40 minute drive though :( but, it'll be on a dual carriage way for most of it, so that'll be kept reasonably clear I should have thought. The main issue in the job atm is that I get here via a more country road, which doesn't have any lighting most of the time!

Anyhoo, got here. I've brought some pasta with pesto and cream cheese for my lunch. I don't normally eat cold pasta very often, but the pesto needed using and I fancied a bit of a change, so there we go! I'm sure it'll be tasty come lunch time :)

I'm so glad it's Friday. I didn't get in til 7pm last night, and I'm just shattered.
