Hi
i am looking for the best way to go to london for weekend commencing friday 17 feb-19th feb
2 adults one child
leaving from ascot or possibly slough
i am going to a show on the 17th but looking to travel around with the best value from one ticket
any ideas as i do not trust national rail enquiries to give me best price

    Your problem will be getting to and from London cheaply. One possibility:

    Friday 2A 1ch off peak single Slough Ealing Broadway £13.75 - switch to tube with zone 1-3 off peak travelcard £7.70 per adult. Child is free from this point on
    Saturday zone 1-2 off peak travelcard £7 per adult
    Sunday - reverse Friday.

    Or get Oyster cards for the adults at Ealing Broadway - these would be cheaper if you only did the one journey on the Friday. £5 refundable deposit
