Potentially stupid q about washer/dryers

I bought a bosch washer dryer from John Lewis. I used the £15 voucher floating around on the vouchers board then 8% quidco so it worked out quite reasonable in the end. I did look at the Hotpoint one but after checking reviews on Which.co.uk I plumped for the Bosch which I'm very happy with. Before you make up your mind you can always get a free trial with Which.co.uk and have a look if it helps.You can't go wrong with carpet bombing...0

As an unhappy owner of a Hotpoint WD865A I'd recommend looking at another machine. On paper it's great - good features, it is quiet, reasonably priced for a high-end model but reliablity has been poor.0
