    Afternoon all!

Had a reasonably productive morning doing the kitchen with my DD (aged 3) "helping" me!

Having just started flying I'm finding it a revelation. Before, I either had to clean OR do other things (like playing with DD). Now, what I do to clean the house feels more like pottering as there's no pressure to get it all done every day. DD and I spent most of the morning in the kitchen me potter-cleaning and her alternating in helping me and doing some arts and crafts at the kitchen table which I was able to help her with when needed as I wasn't dashing round like a blue-!!!!!d fly! As a consequence I seem to be getting more done. My kitchen looks great! Loving it. :rotfl:

OH managed to get my car going. :j He's parked in facing downwards on the drive so i can do what he did if it won't start again. I'm hoping it will though because i'm having images of me not being able to get it going and it stuck in the middle of the road.

Back to Ds2's room now, i was hoping to get it done by the time he comes home but i'm not sure.

    Hi all,

I signed up to the fly lady email which comes whizzing across the pond every morning.

Anyhow the other day I noticed there is an iPhone app which has the calendar etc... on it.

Has anyone managed to download the iPhone app as I can't get it - the app store doesn't seem to have it on my phone - very confused!

    link here: http://www.cozi.com/iphoneapp.htm

Sorry I can't help. I don't think any of us flyladys subscribe to the US site we are doing very much our own thing not linked to that site.

I have hoovered everywhere in our bedroom, under and on top of wardrobe, under bed etc

Caught up on loads more governor stuff I had to read. Cold now so off to hoover the boys bedrooms and then prep stuff for dinner.

    Hi

Didnt get chance to post yesterday and havent had chance to read back so apologies for not picking up info.

Did some flying yesterday evening but got waylaid and did a bit of decluttering looking for a quilt cover! Hadnt used that one for a while and found what i thought was all i needed, changed the sheet and all the pillow cases then couldnt find the cover which i know i have seen recently. Spent the next 2 hours hunting the house for it (including looking in the attic - dont ask!) so the big underbed linen drawer has now all been sorted as have several boxes in the spare room. We do still however have a mismatching bed and I have no idea where the other one is.

Hopefully tonight I will have a better chance to fly!

In the mean time HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUILLION

I've been running late all day. DD1 and I managed to sleep through the alarm although I'm not actually sure it went off and we were only woken by DD1's friend at the door.
Of course this made me late to take my dad to his club. Then once we were in the car he decides that he wanted to go to Argos  so he was late to club.

I've unloaded and reloaded the airer, 2nd lot in the WM, DW also on. I've bagged up the DDs clutter from the living room for them to deal with later. Refilled the recycling bin again with the stuff that wouldn't fit for this mornings collection
I started to give the kitchen a scrub but the flumes / smell from the Stardrops went straight to my chest and made me start coughing again so I've abandoned that for a bit :o

I'm now researching how to make a natural citrus spray. I'm looking for something I can spray over our carpets where DC5 has her "accidents"
I don't want an air freshener as it may stop her from actually using the litter trays. Any ideas fly ladies?? :)

I'm now off to collect my dad, take him to Mr A's with my mums list before coming back to start again :)

Just popped on to say Have a wonderful birthday Quillion xxxx and noticed that it's also Lil_me's DS's birthday so happy birthday Lil_me's DS xxxx

We consigned our Christmas to the bin when we took it down last night as it was practically bald (15 years old!). I'm on the look out for an 8 foot green tree in the sales if any of you come across any can you give me the heads up please.

I've been fluttering rather than flying today. 10 items have to be put away in each room I go in before I do what I was going to do in that room. It can take a while to get from upstairs to the utilitly room with 10 items in each room being tidied but it's amazing how quickly it works.

    Hugs to all xx
