Morning all :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both JJ's daughter and G&B's daughter :D:):D

juliejim - I'm so glad I am not the only one with literally thousands of emails, lol! I have thousands and thousands to declutter, think I'll aim for 500-1000 a day :)

WM has been on for about an hour now so that should be finished soon before the clothes go in the TD I also have more bedding to wash as well as uniforms.
I'm going to get on with Monday's list now and a couple of things left to do off my list from yesterday :)

Catch you all later everyone :)

• Day 1 of flying and yay! I've kitchen/living area completed and nearly sorted spare room. It's not perfect, and filing not exactly perfect, but all in the right direction. None of my usual, gather everything up and hide it! I will need to hide a little before visitors, but apartment too small to continue this practice!

As an added bonus, OH felt guilty (though that wasn't the intention as he isn't feeling great, a dose of man flu) and cleaned our bedroom :j

Level One
S & S kitchen - DONE
Make packed lunch for work.
Leave out paper work for MOT - DONE

Level Two
Get all washing up to date - all washing/ironing complete
Clean up, and freeze left overs as appropriate from family dinner.
Wash floors in Living room/kitchen - DONE
Finish filing in spare room before family come over - 60% DONE

Need to add in to sort out car, check oil, air pressure, clean it so I'm ready for tomorrow.
Also aiming to get my bike sorted, I've been trying to do this all week. Maybe today (maybe wishful thinking!)

Can I join please. As I really need to get on top of things this year.
Aiming for level 1. I'm generally not very good with making my own lists - but think I may do better with suggestions from here. Feels a bit more of a positive challenge.

I managed to give the kitchen a thorough clean yesterday even though woke up with a throat bug & feeling under the weather. Changed bed and will sort washing today and get work clothes & daughters uniforms ready for tomorrow. So feeling good about first steps.

Thoughts are with the family of boy who died and others who have faced difficult circumstances over the holiday & new year period.

Right. Pretty good so far! Starving hungry now but can't eat as kitchen floor still wet so will have to sit and post til then :rotfl:

Thanks for the link DustyKitten - sorry if I'm unclear (or clueless!!). I've read post #2 but it's this bit that's not working for me:

15. Toots'list this is a master list of absolutely everything you want to get done in the house and garden and your life in general - I went through each room and noted everything - this is a long term list - some things could take you up to a year!

I can't get to the master list - will it scare me? Am off to have a search for it anyway.

Afternoon all

The tree, ornaments and cards are all down and packed away. The cards will hopefully be recycled, somewhere, and the rest is up in the loft.

Everything in the living room has been dusted/polished and I've vacuumed right through downstairs and up the stairs. The kitchen floor has been cleared of little muddy footprints. Again.

Watched Sherlock.

DS and his fiancee have gone home now so their bedding has been washed. Tomorrow I plan to do the tablecloth but there won't be anywhere to hang it up if I do it today (bedding on the banister ;)).

It's suddenly gone dark, looks like it's going to pour down again.

Cold roast beef (the weird bits on the end) and mash and pickles for dinner, lovely :)

No problem, keep asking. This was just Toots own list of what she wanted to get done in her house. It may not be of use to anybody else as it was things like fill holes in skirtking, get chimney swept.

You can just create you own, if you want to that is. I personally don't have one but each month or two try to list things I want to get done. It depends on how you prefer to work.

The reason it is on there is because lots of other people created lists too and they became known as Toots lists that is all. If you still really want to see her list I'll search for you this evening and dig it out.
