Santander - Transfers Between Accounts

Is anyone else having problems with the on-line banking today?

I cannot transfer funds between accounts - wondered if it was just me

Online banking worked fine for me earlier today.

On the topic of transferring between accounts....

With this preferred 5% account, you can't transfer between your accounts & qualify for the £1k transfer. I understand this part.

However, if you have a Preferred account & your partner also has a preferred account .... can you transfer between the 2 of these? While they're both Santander preferred accounts, they're in different names, so does this transfer count towards your £1k transfer....or not?

Just moved 1p between accounts and it works (was not working between 23rd and just after Xmas though)

Still not working for me, however, set up second account as a new payment and managed to do it that way - thank goodness else the mortgage wouldn't be paid on Tuesday!!!

If you've 2 of these accounts yourself, and opening/operating 2 (or 4?) more for family members on their behalf, then you really ought to familiarise yourself with the account T&Cs before you (and they) come unstuck!

Start with condition L3.3

Or if my gf sets up her SO from her account to go to mine and i set up my SO from my account to go to hers...

...which brings us back to my original question, that was so blatantly ignored....

...back to the question at hand

From someone usually so helpful i'm surprised at you. Or was your reply prompted from elsewhere?

Have you read the referenced condition yet? What does it say?

Yes i've read it,

"L3.3 Transfers into the account from another Santander account
will not count towards your monthly amount."

But some times these people aren't totally specific in what they say.

I.E. The quote implies that ANY account is included in L3.3, whether it be mine or my gf's. However, this may not be the case. I've found these types of flaws with T&Cs in the past.

It makes no difference to me really. It'd make it easier if i could transfer how i'm suggesting, but if not, i'll just cycle £1k back & forth, back & forth, back & forth, back & forth. It just takes a little longer that's all, but no biggie.

How are they not being specific? You can't transfer money from Santander to Santander

I also cannot tranfer money from my zero account to my e saver.
