I don't think they should have charged me £9.99 is that normal? I mean I can get it from the market or any other watch/jewellery store for maybe £5 the most.

Doc, I haven't used Timpson since they charged DS £17 up front for a standard mortice front door key. They said it was a special blank and they had to order it in specially! :eek:

I went back (via the market) showed them the copy the stallholder had just cut and charged me £3 for, asked them what was so special about the key and demanded my money back. They apologised and said the person who had served DS had made a mistake.

I wrote to their HO on the form they gave me in the shop but never heard anything. Things like that really put me off :mad: and I am now happy to tell everyone about it and to recommend the man on the market.

LinC said on other thread, that the lady from THE extreme couponing in UK program has been spotted on mission control. Someone recognised her name, she said she was asked to save up all those coupons by the producers of the programme, so she could put quite a lot through, she doesn't normally shop like that.
