    I wombled a nice looking £107 receipt this afternoon... it was absolutely soaking wet, so I tried to dry it with the hair dryer.... Note to all --- DON'T EVER DO THIS!!! *idiot* (not that I expect anyone to be as stupid as me) It has burnt. But the details for entering are still visible, so if it's worth anything I might just hand it over. But what excuse can I use? Can't very well say it was attacked by a hair dryer.
  • why not ( thats if they even notice) just tell them you dropped in in a puddle and tried drying it out.

    if details they need to check against voucher are visable/readable then you should be ok

    You don't have to explain anything to the checkout, CL. You dropped it, you dried it , you got JTD what more do they need?:rotfl:

    I guess so! I always overthink these things... but I do think they have sussed my game, as I never spend huge amounts in there and only ever seem to pay with APGs... :S

    I do to. If they do say "wow, you have a lot of apg's", I just tell them I have been saving them up to a worthwhile amount.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    The other thing I do is Asda will only take 5 coupons before they call a supervisor over as the till says "exceeded coupon limit". So I actually sometimes split my shop.

    ie, if I have 10 coupons, be they apgs or coupons I split it to two shops. Again if they query it I say I am doing my sisters shopping.

    Works for me.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
