    Hi,
I have used both of these stores before. Tesco is normally good as gold. But that Sainsburys I will never go to again with coupons. Used some few months ago when oceans spray was on offer, supervisor was called over and they checked every single coupon for their unique code and then she said they can't accept it because the juice is on offer as it says so in the T&C on the coupon. When the supervisor had gone I had a look at the coupons myself and it didnt say it cant be used when the item is on offer! So I pointed this out to the SA, made the superviser look like a fool that she was! They eventually accepted all coupons but ended up spending about 15mintes at the till!!! Will never go to S in Becton again!

just an update on coupon use in Sainsburys and Tesco in Beckton as I asked about them a few days back.

Tesco was great, they were happy for me to use coupons on SS till and the SA hanging around the area was very friendly and happy to put all the rest through for me, she didn't even question why I had 4 of the vitalite PDF coupons whereas I know some people have been hassled even though they are entirely legit.

Sainsburys on the other hand, they weren't impolite about it the lady on the till I was at was very apologetic but it seems their tills after the refurb are set up specifically not to accept most types of coupons as they would beep but do nothing else, and most of the staff including the customer service manager said they had never seen 'coupons you print yourself' before  which I just find surprising. Methinks maybe as sainsburys in particular have been targetted by coupon fraud; they have put some stringent measures in place in new and refurbed stores? One staff member tried to say that they were copies but I pointed out they are personalised and have my name on and are all different bar codes, he shut up. They spoke to the actual manager who thankfully happened to be milling about and she said they are legit and said the customer service till is the only one set up for them so she sorted it so another SA could put the coupons through on it, but it was quite a bit of hassle and a bit embarassing. Also the guy who put my coupons through did mess up a bit and consequently put the fairy through as two transactions; so I got it for 80p each instead of the 25p each as I should have done. Another thing was the nature babycare nappies in the size I prefer to buy for my son were out of stock so I had to get him the size 3s, which he is borderline too big for (though IME the nature babycare nappies are a bit more generously sized than other major brands), so I didn't use the third coupon for those and will just get them from waitrose-even if not on offer £4 is still a decent saving. So next time would probably avoid the Beckton sainsburys tbh xx

Morning everyone - just something to mention for new peeps looking for the new coupons to make it easier for them, I would advise you to save the thread in your favourites, when I have finished reading it and caught up with everything, if the thread has clicked over onto a new page, I re-save it in my favourites, that way when I next go on the thread, I know where I was up to and don't miss anything new which has been post. This way, you won't miss anything new that MT has add to the shopping list, as all the new coupons are mentioned in the thread, then MT puts them on the shopping list.

Just to mention, went to Sainsburys last night as I had a couple of the ocean spray to use, did manage to get those, but they don't seem to have codes on, so I think that's all I'm gonna be able to get, first time for these too, which is a pity, my two boys love it. Also 2 bottles of fairy liquid for 50p. The girl on the checkout said to me, my husband watches this programme on Sky about these people in America, I said yeah its Extreme Couponing, I like to watch that too, she was lovely. She had bother putting through the second fairy liquid but just keyed it in no probs. I also got more Aunt Bessies yorkshires these were the chicken ones, they had them marked down to £1 from £1.64, so 50p for these. My freezer is bulging and the cupboards are full. :)

I hope you enjoy them soon!

I couldn't fathom that one out??
Not desparate for them though, had far too many calories of late!!!!!
Maybe a coupon for a fitness video would come in handy. ;)
