fridge recommendations please

I currently have a large LEC fridge and this morning noticed that it wasn't cool and an opened bottle of milk had turned.
I've turned the thermostat onto the maximum and so far it doesn't seem to have made any difference.
I might see if I can get someone out to look at it (but as I'm back at work that is going to be difficult unless they can come on a Saturday or in evenings).
Just in case the worse comes to the worst and I need to buy a new fridge, I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts about what they have.
I would like to keep to having a tall fridge. Apart from that, I've no particular preferences.
Thanks.

Does the light work?
It may just be your thermostat if so.Replaced mine a couple of times at £20 a time.0 -
Thanks for th suggestion loracan. Yes the light is working.0

Google the model number (probably inside near the bottom shelf somewhere), try espares or ebay for a thermostat and have a go at replacing it. Take plenty of photos beforehand and as you remove things. Turn off the power beforehand. There's one here to show what you're looking for in the fridge (mine goes from a disc thing at the back to inside the light housing)0

Thanks loracan. I've just looked on espares and found a thermostat. Not sure I'd trust myself to fit it though...0

Will do! I'll get the thermo delivered to work so hopefully I'll get it Wed and can have a working fridge again!
Such a shame it's not freezing cold out - I could put my milk etc out there!
Thanks.0 -
Oh well. Worth a try. The thermostat came. I spent ages fitting it and not only does the light not work, but something shorted as I lost my leccy when I turned it on. Am going to get some quotes to see how much it would take for someone to come out and do it for me!
Pleased with myself that I didn't give up trying. Frustrated anyway that my efforts didn't get it working.
I just hope I haven't done more damage!
I'll report back in a couple of days!0
