3 bottles of Salad cream for 1 person

Happy New Year for 2012.
OK, so I bought a bottle of salad cream then found I already have 2 in my cupboards, Heinz and MrT as well as the new Asda. I live alone and have no idea what to do with 3 bottles apart from putting on salad :o
Please can you folks help me.
Many thanks
Wendy

What are the expiry dates? Is there any imperative to eat them right away? Once you start on one, I'm sure you'll regain a taste for it and will get through the other 2. Otherwise, give the botles with a short life on them away to someone who might appreciate them.

I remember enjoying fish finger and salad cream sandwiches as a childhood treat ;).

I use it for egg or chicken sandwiches and potato salad and as a base for rose marie sauce. not hugely inspiring but a few ideas. hope this helps.

works well in sandwiches, i dont buy it on the whole but always do a 'stock take' before you go shopping in future

I just love salad cream with cold roast chicken, chips, eggs, cheese & tomato sandwiches and I mix it with some English mustard and have it with cold meat or even a steak straight off the grill and some raw onions.

Mixed with grated cheese and chopped spring onions - easy sandwich filler :D

  • Thanks so far. Have not checked due dates (never do really), love salad cream with fish fingers but never tried it on sandwich so will have a go, just do not eat many sandwiches (will do with boiled egg too). Really really fancy trying on chips and that will help on the empty my freezer project. No-one to give it to (the church sales were all pre-Christmas), so anything else please please!!!
