Seems I missed all the decent offers, that is exactly the sort of offer i was after. Cannot find anything even near that price.

I found an excellent cheap camera on google by typing

"the best digital camera with hd video recording" with the quotes..
It can take clear pictures and also do hd video recording and slow motion
video recording..

The Canon Ixus 220 is a good deal at the moment (the price has been reduced due to a new model being introduced (230) but some reviews suggest that the older model (220) is actually better.

After Canon cashback it works out at £109.60 which is a bargain. Good quality video with some fun features like speeded up/time lapse and slow motion. Handheld nightscene means you can take decentish pictures at night as long as the subject and you are still. Camera also comes in red or silver if you prefer. It's also very small so fits in a shirt pocket or jacket pocket.
