what does your cat like to eat

Boycat is partial to the odd raw chicken wing. I quite wish he'd take to the raw diet as it would be lovely for his teeth.
Girlcat is a bit of a snob, but will has a strange liking for bread. She'll steal toast from your plate if she can get a paw in!
They're also both terrible for stealing any food left out, so we have to leave the worktops free of anything edible.0 -
My old Eric loved Pawpaw, melon and Yoghurt whereas the two Maine Coons are nowhere near as adventures just cat food will even turn their nose up at leftover beef, chicken and ham.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Please be aware that some foods are actually toxic to cats (and dogs) some of which are mentioned in this thread!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Whatever I'm eating - usually they end up disappointed though.
The thing they seem to go maddest for is cheese. A couple of times when I've accidentally dropped a bit of cheese on the floor they've eaten it before I get a chance to pick it up. Most stuff, even scraps of meat, they like to sniff before they eat it, but cheese...0 -
cats taste is almost entirely sense of smell. they will eat literally anything if it smells nice. to the point where earwax dipped in gravy will be nommed down like a good 'un.0

Ging (3 year old) loves cheese, rich tea, chips, chicken korma and chicken, he also loves egg custard cakes as well as carrots and green beans and parsnips - he has his five a day!
Tom (12 years old) likes fish, the odd rich tea, chicken and a bit of cheese and a bit of milk. Kerry (tom's brother) is the opposite and thinks that anything other than cat food, weetabix, cat biscuits and semi skimmed milk is poisionus and won't entertain the idea.
They all enjoy weetabix and there's often a queue to get into my breakfast!0 -
cream crackers are stolen from the packet (quite a feat i feel considering i have a hard time getting them out!) and scones, he'll actually try to eat scones out of my hand the cheeky little so and so!
he loves playing with grapes so will beg for them as well and then i'll find them squished somewhere usually in bare feet!Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Treacle only eats cat food...... not really interested in anything else.
Winston, on the other hand, will eat pretty much anything........... any meat, cheese, custard, cream, eggs, curry, lasagne......... and on one occasion, I thought he had cut his mouth........... turned out to be tomato soup :rotfl:0 -
All of mine (4: Phoebe (big fat phoebs), Marley, Hope, Junior (son to Marley & Hope) all turn their cute little noses up at anything that has "cat" written on it. On the flip side, if it is dried up, manky and wrapped in a plastic bin bag unfit for consumption - then it is the best thing ever.
All mine enjoy the remains of a chicken. They go into meltdown over it.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
