I have a question...I've noticed some ladies include cosmetics and some ladies don't. Is there a guideline as to what you want to include in the challenge or is it up to each individual? Thank you xxNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

It's up to you...I don't have that much (well, looking through I have a few duplicates and some old stuff which I am weeding out as I go), but some people are as bad for make-up as they are for toiletries, so they tend to count them. For me, I still count it as a UU/GA/TA when I get rid of it, but I haven't counted them in my official stash.

I've had lots of UU today!
Simple make up remover - HG. 2 more in the stash to get used :rotfl:
Rituals foaming shower gel - WNBA this is not shower gel, its just shaving foam in a can that says shower gel. also has SLES in so thats a no from me. smells nice though!
Hermes perfume sample - WNBA
RMK Skin Tuner trial bottle- WNBA this is supposed to be a moisturiser but its just not enough for my skin. repurposed it as a toner and it does an ok job at that. think its £30 full size so far to expensive for a toner!
John Masters exfoliating cleanser sachet - WBA this is quite nice. its a milky cream with jojoba beads in. i think it is too much for my skin everyday so if i bought would use it as a weekly/biweekly exfoliator
Caudalie anti wrinkle serum mini tube - WNBA i dont this makes any difference but 2 applications is nowhere near enough to give a balanced view on its effectiveness.
also went to use my vera wang lovestruck shower gel and whilst being in the bathroom, the label has all peeled off and gone weird and the pink coating on the tube itself has started running and was leaving pink puddles wherever i moved it to  have still got the empty bottles from the Korres UU i had last week so I'm going to have to decant it into those.tokkiandoliver wrote: »I have a question...I've noticed some ladies include cosmetics and some ladies don't. i have a geniune stash of both (as in, a whole pile/bag/drawer of stuff not in use and duplicates of what is in use) so i list both.0 -
Ooh ladies...I've had a lovely, unexpected present today.
Picklemum went to Cheshire Oaks today and brought me back some L'Occitane goodies!
How kind is that? I completely wasn't expecting that. (I fact, when we went in December I refused to buy anything as I have so much to use up. And it was soooo hard to pass up the Verbena stuff!)
Guess what? I have been rewarded for my abstinence! My reward includes...
500ml Verbena shower gel
250g Verbena extra-gentle soap
75ml Verbena shampoo
125g Bonne Mere vegetable soap
30ml Verbena cooling hand gel
4 samples: eyebalm; repairing shampoo; repairing shine mask; volumizing conditioner
How lovely is that?!
Thanks Picklemum!Please call me 'Pickle'

Welcome Tokkiandoliver. I haven't listed my make up because I'm too flipping embarrassed at the vast amount (and age, in some cases) but lots of the other ladies on the thread do!0

UU! Champneys Spa Indulgence Mediterranean Bliss Bubble Heaven 400ml
Smells lovely, skin does feel nice, WBA but I have a stash to get through!
Had a few inns today, benefit make up and a gift set of Mark Hill hair stuff for Brunettes. Have no Boots points left now, so that is my last treat until the stash goes!0 -

I feel that way too!
Well I think I will include my lipsticks since they are a bit out of hand and they go off faster than any other cosmetics.
Making my stash list now woohoo!!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

I just got it from Asda of all places, it comes in an orange packet and was a whopping 90p :rotfl:
I've been brave this morning and NOT used any moisturiser after it just to see if it stops my skin getting as oily through the day.
Hi Cazzdevil, Thanks for reminding me that I have one of these in my stash. I have finally searched for it today and have started using it as a facial soap as S&G Clarity facial wash is proving to be drying for my skin probably because it has SLS which this soap doesn't. And this reminds me of my childhood. S&G has gone back to the stash for use in spring/ summer time

evening ladies
I have another UU, body shop shea butter body cream,(50ml) I have no idea how long this had been lying around the house and I suspect it was a freebie from a magazine at some point. It is moisturising but I wnba as I have lots of others that do an equally good job but have a much nicer scent
ps sawan - loved your blog:beer:, the metallic stripe foils were lovely and I'm trying very hard to resist buying petrol in water - it's gorgeous0
