Website for B & B s?

Looking for a website so I can make a regular business booking for someone.Tripadviser has too few.Any ideas?

Go to https://www.booking.com, it's one of the biggest sites out there.

BIG TIP:

DO NOT book through booking.com. Use them to find out names and reviews of hotels/B&Bs, then go to yell.com and find the phone number of the hotel yourself. Booking.com take 15% commission from each booking, which the hotel usually passes on to the guest. Always book direct with the hotel.

Technically a lot of places who call themselves hotels are in fact B&Bs. The difference between the two is that to be a hotel you must have a license to serve alcohol and/or serve dinner.

e.g. if you look at Shepherds Bush Road in Hammersmith, London W6. There are nearly 2 dozen places called 'X Hotel'. Every single one is a B & B.

I think a new law in 2008 will get them to change 'Hotel' to 'House', as part of a new pan-European initiative to reduce confusion.
