iPad insurance

Hello guys,

I recently got an iPad and was wondering what the best way to insure it is?

I've been debating whether to get individual insurance through somewhere like protectmybubble or go for a more general contents insurance. Any advice?

You'll be spending £4.88 a month just to cover the ipad, you could buy contents Insurance for granted a bit more but you'd get cover for more than just one item lol

Some home insurance will cover it check your policy if you have it other than that you can often add it as an extra when you take out home insurance they often have extras like money, credit cards, mobiles, bikes, high value items

Contents insurance is the best place for this. Would expect an iPad to get covered under the "personal belongings" clauses of contents insurance which cover things you carry about with you, if not you can specifically list it on the policy and mention that you'll be taking it out of the house. iPads are not especially expensive as far as fancy gadgets go, and I believe they can be traced using GPS making them unattractive to thieves, so it shouldn't cost a lot to cover. £4.88 a month sounds like a rip off!
