Hire Purchase Vehicle at 0% APR Plan?

Just seen the new Alpha Romeo Giulietta on a 0% APR Plan for 3 years.

I was wondering if anyone else has gone through a 0% finance plan before on a car and how it works/worth it?

I was hoping to get a fairly new used 2nd hand car (depreciation value when buying new just doesn't seem to cut it for me) but it has to be on a finance plan with 0% interest.

If anyone knows any websites for more info or which car companies sell cars on such a plan, it would be really useful.

Many Thanks

You won't get one on a 2nd hand car (except possibly on a significantly overpriced car).

0% deals are available on new cars, (largely on deals funded by the manufacturer) and the 'interest' is recovered through the retail price of the car and the lack of discount.

0% finance usually requires a large deposit also. Anything from 25 - 75%.

As others have said, if a used car is being sold with 0% finance then chances are its built in to an over inflated price in the first place - SOMEBODY has to pay the interest charges - on new cars thats usually the manufacturer supporting their car on the market, however on used cars its the supplying dealer.

Oh, and its ALFA btw. ;)
