I was looking for 1.3 Mitsubishi colt 4G13 engine about 5 years ago, they said they didn't do them but would try to source me one. I had also failed with my local scrap yards.
They phoned me back having found one no doubt from some scrap yard somewhere..... They wanted something like £1200 to deliver it to me -as is- not reconditioned, not interested in my old lump as far as I can recall. All they offered was 3 months guarantee.
I have bought engines for £100 from scrap yards in the past, rarity of the 4G13 engine would push up the price upto maybe as much as £400, but £1200? :eek: They're having a giraffe.0 -

their pretty good if they have it on the stock books, agree'd pretty useless otherwise we tried sourcing a MG meastro engine with them they found one but was so expensive they customer opted to have their recondition with ivor searle for £400 less.
