I have decided to set myself some mini challenges for each month during 2012, its easy to get a bit stuck in a rut and I often spend more time thinking or writing about the things I want to achieve than actually doing them.
SO for January I am setting myself 5 tasks:
SO for January I am setting myself 5 tasks:
- Pay £817 off the 0% cc
- Earn £167 (1 /12th of my £2012 target)
- Stick to a £5 a day grocery budget (5, 1 dog, 2 cats)

funnily enough I was just thinking of something similar. Mine shall be
1. Packed lunch to work every working day in January (20 days)
2. at least 30 mins exercise 3x a week (even if it is only the exercise bike/wii fit/dvd until i get into the habit)
3. keep grocery spends under £180 for month, need to run down the freezer
4. finish de-junking the study by the end of January
5. Get guttering on house sorted.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Happy new year everyone
Today will be a NSD, as we are out for lunch and I have some wine left from xmas to take with us.
Upping the earnings with a few surveys if possible and getting dd to show me how to ebay again. I'm not sure if right after xmas will be the right time for that though, is everyone broke and not buying at the moment?
Other than that probably cleaning out the fridge to see what is still edible !MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Its going well for me with the extra earning so far this month, £83 selling an old gold necklace , plus £43 from topcashback.
The drinking less alcohol is going ok too, I desperatly wanted a nice glass of wine tonight but resisted, and I'm still on track with the fiver a day food budget. I'm feeling confident this month will be ok , except for the weight loss and thats the one I would like to tackle most of all.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
