large window - curtain query

I have a window which measures 276 cm wide - along the track and 152 cm drop from track to the bottom of the windowsil. I am trying to work out what width of curtains I need. I am trying to go for ready made. In the past I have had a go at making them but not done too well. The windows / material are too large for me to cope with. I am struggling to find curtains that fit this size window or it could be that I am just misunderstanding??? thanks

It's usuall to have the curtains twice the width of the track. The widest ready made ones that I've seen are 90" wide each curtain so that's approx 229cm. If you're not too fussed about them being very full you could go for a pair 90" wide by 72" long, I don't think you'll find anything the exact length you want, you'll either have to shorten them or just let them be longer.

I have large bay windows in my home and was also having problems getting curtains wide enough to give some fullness.

About a month ago after trawling the internet for what felt like months and months I found this site www.elmetcurtains.co.uk, their prices are very, very reasonable and they are fab! I ordered two pairs at 132" wide, one pair needed the length shortening, which they do free of charge. They were delivered to me a week later and I am very pleased with them, I would certainly use them again and would also recommend.
