would you expect any internal condensation with 1.1 upvc windows?

I think it would depend on the level of humidity in the room/house.0

If the inner surface temperature of the glass falls below the room dewpoint then you will get condensation. If you are getting condensation on with high "U" value windows it would suggest that you have a high humidity. Is the window in or near a kitchen or bathroom? You may need to ventilate the space more.0

the relative humidity on the house is high 40's, from the weather station bargain i picked up from the site, very occasionally it gets to 50-51%. would this be considered high humidity or ventilation or could there be an issue with the new windows and how would i go about checking. thanks0

35-40% is considered normal. Google "humidity levels in the home" for more info.0
