And I know a waste of £6.99 a month but at least someone appreciates my hard work!
Off to Kettering to fix the laptop!0 -
Evening everybody!
Just checking in after yet another late shift. I can't grumble for £36.88 extra and a lie-in, but well, actually I can as it would be nice to have an evening in with the OH for a change!
Just had Tesc0 stuff delivered - cat food for a month woohoo!! Also bought the stuff to make rice krispie nests so need to make them sharpish and get them out of the house by March 1st!! :rotfl:
(Also their Easter Eggs are on buy one get two free so if you were gonna buy some anyway.... me & OH got peanut M&Ms/Cadbury's Caramel/Crunchie ones to look forward to :EasterBun0 -
Ruby, how do you make easter nests? I remember the cornflakes ones, and the rice krispy ones, but what were the one that actually looked like twigs made from? Also, what's your new saving target??? We wanna see your saving grow now as inspiration *sniggers*Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Well when I say nest what I actually mean is a rice krispie bun with a mini egg stuck on top but you get the idea! :rotfl:I think you can use all bran to make them (I might be making this up...) but that sounds rank and I didn't have/want any in the house
For a saving target - I'm not really sure - I need to save spending money for my honeymoon because I don't want to end up in debt after that!! I think I will get a credit card to use there to make things easier, but I want to be able to set a budget and just pay it off with savings then go about my life again afterwards!!
I'd love to save £2.5k by the end of this year, but with the wedding "getting in the way" I'm not sure I'll be able to!!0 -
There you go Jemma! Put Ruby down for £2500 green please
she's set a target you saw that right?! hahaha
C/C for the honeymoon spending sounds sensible especially if you pay it back straight away when you return, what an awesome feeling you'll have and such an achievement xx
Just goggled, chocolate nests were made using shredded wheat. Want! Want! Want!Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Just another quick update, not really paying off as much as I would like. Got a weekend away to madrid planned for this month so had to save money for that. Hopefully back on track in April, but then two stag do's and a wedding in Ireland in May and June! Argh it all comes at once! Suppose the mindset has changed significantly...this time last year it would have just been put on the credit card!! So.......
