I need a bit of advice here guys, I'm thinking of spending on my credit card BUT there is madness in my logic...
Basically I allow myself £500 per month for fuel/food/whatever and the rest goes on bills/debt. I am currently trying to save up approx £6000 to pay off my HBSC loan early but am thinking of spending say £400 of my £500 allowance on the 0% credit card and then it gives me another £400 per month towards saving for my loan... This would basically knock about 2 months off the loan giving me a higher rebate in interest... The question is how much of a difference the rebate will be so is it worth it...?
What would you guys do? xxx
If it's a 0% CC then go for it, the rebate will definitely be worth it. I'd put the full £500 on it if you can. As long as you'll pay the CC off before the 0% period ends, it's a no-brainer... you just need the discipline!0 -
:mad::mad: Not a happy bunny today:mad::mad:
I started a new job today, it's ony part time but hey ho it's a job and the pays not bad. Well I finished my work and was in the car going home decide to eat the choc bar I had in my bag.. and notice that my purse was not how I put in in my bag.. (I always put it in the same way).. I decide to then just check my purse and found there was a 10 Euro note missing, that was all the money I had in my purse. So it seems that one of my co-workers decide to help themselves. :mad:
That just really spoiled my day after work went so well
That's really crappy, and really petty. Sorry to hear about it, I hope it hasn't put you off the job too much. Some people :mad:0 -

What a horrible way to end your day! They must be a huge lowlife to steal from someone on their first day. I sincerely hope they catch them :mad: Is your new job in a place where they'd have CCTV or anything? Someone must know something as it can't be the first time this person has stolen from a colleague... xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

My CC is 0% for over 18months yet so plenty of time to get it cleared before Christmas. Actually it's a good point putting the full £500 on as the extra £100 cash would only be spent on sweeties or buying lunches from the bakery around the corner when I'd "forgotten" to take in my lunch so at least it would curb these non-essential spends...
Discipline... so to use your example, I need to have the discipline to put back the 3 fishes... I can do that! :rotfl:New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
